METHGUARD UK TRAINING PROGRAMME

AAH have partnered with LearnSomething to provide you with this MethGuard UK training package. This is a methylamphetamine retail training package designed to increase your awareness of the potential dangers of the abuse of ephedrine and pseudoephedrine medicines in the production of the illegal substance of misuse, Crystal Meth.

Now that the MHRA have decided not to reclassify pseudoephedrine from a P status to POM, it is important that the pharmacy profession shows them how serious we are about responsibly managing sales of medicines which may be liable to misuse.

How to Register

1. If you are a first time user to the site you will need to register to create an account
2. To register, simply click on register on this page
3. Creating a Username and Password for yourself
4. Complete the required fields not forgetting to fill in your AAH account number
5. Press continue, and you are now ready to select your training
6. Once you have selected ‘MethGuard UK’, you will be required to pay a £5 subscription for each person completing the training. This payment must be by credit card.
7. If you wish to return to the site in the future, simply log in with your Username and Password

Remember

• This training will count towards your CPD. If you need a certificate, you may print one off the final screen when you have completed the course.
• If you don’t have time to complete the training in one session, simply log back in when you have time, and it will automatically take you back to where you left off. It will remain live for 90 days following purchase.
