The FAIA "Agency Catastrophe Guide" seminar course features FAIA instructor Bob Ross.
Catastrophe Planning: Is it only common sense?
We'll look at the impact of our all-too-common natural disasters: hurricanes, tornadoes, lightning, earthquakes and wildfires. Agencies must also face the possibilities of workplace violence and, after September 11th, the obvious seriousness of terrorism. Planning for disasters involves common sense, but it also requires careful thought, action and deliberation to be sure you minimize the impact of these potentially devastating events. Catastrophe planning cannot be a hit-or-miss operation…at home or at the office.
