Pharmacists
Pharmacists licensed in the state of New York are required to complete a total of 45 contact hours (4.5 CEUs) of ACPE-approved continuing education during each licensure triennium (three-year period). A maximum of 22 contact hours may be earned in self-study programs.

Certified Pharmacy Technicians
Technicians who have been awarded the designation of Certified Pharmacy Technician by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board must complete a minimum of 20 hours of continuing pharmaceutical education credit every two years in order to renew their certification.
